Native in both languages
French pages written for Québec, not translated from English. Search finds the shop in the language the customer uses.
Case study · Press-on nails
Hand-painted press-on nails from Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Québec, sold online and from a mall kiosk. The brief: a site in both languages that sells like a boutique, without leaving their Shopify checkout behind.
The brief
A Québec shop needs French and English that both feel native, not translated. And the store already lived on Shopify, so the new site had to sell without moving a single product.
DivineDigits paints every set by hand, and the old store showed them the way every Shopify theme does: a grid of thumbnails. The new site treats the collections like a boutique window, with photographed sets, short films of the miniature artist at work, and a how-to that answers the questions people ask at the kiosk.
Every page exists twice, in English and in French, with the copy written for each audience rather than run through a translator. The cart is on the site, the checkout is Shopify’s, and the catalogue rebuilds itself from the store feed so prices and stock never drift.
Highlights
French pages written for Québec, not translated from English. Search finds the shop in the language the customer uses.
The site does the showing, Shopify does the payment, tax and shipping. No new platform to learn, no products to re-enter.
Delivered as a complete package with plain-English notes so the owner can keep editing it with their own tools.

On a phone
Most visits come from Instagram on a phone. The hero has its own vertical cut, the shop filters are chips, and adding to cart takes one thumb.
